At Church Without Borders we live out our purpose within the context of four gospel-centered values...

TRUTH.jpeg

TRUTH

In a world where image is everything and nothing is ever what it seems, our culture is hungry for truth. And Jesus is the embodiment of truth [John 14:6]. There was never any disconnect between the words Jesus spoke, and the life he lived. And as we read the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit reveals truth to us, as he reveals to us Jesus on every single page [John 5:39].

WORSHIP.jpeg

WORSHIP

Worship is at the core of who we are. All of us are shaped by and transformed by whatever it is that we devote ourselves to. Which is why we choose to worship Jesus. He’s the only one who is truly worthy of our devotion. And so we worship Jesus both corporately and individually, because all of life is worship [Romans 12:1].

COMMUNITY.jpeg

COMMUNITY

Our need for community ultimately comes from the fact that we were created in the image of a Triune God [Genesis 1:27]. And although sin separates us from God and from each other, Jesus reconciles us at the cross [Ephesians 2:16]. When we do life together as God intended (in raw, gritty, Christ-centered community) we leave behind religion, embrace relationship, and demonstrate the power of the gospel to transform people’s lives.

MISSION.jpeg

MISSION

A church without a mission isn’t really a church. Jesus left us behind for a reason, and that reason is to live out the ministry of reconciliation where we live, work, and play [2 Corinthians 5:18]. Church isn’t a club that we try to get people to join, but the hands and feet of Jesus that make a difference in the world . We serve Jesus by serving people [Matthew 25:40], and we serve people by showing them Jesus.
